Clearance is R3i's decision framework for determining whether a transaction is executable before capital, reputation and institutional resources are committed.
01 · Why Clearance exists
Traditional investment processes often collapse several questions into one: do we like this opportunity?
That is insufficient.
A good asset can sit inside a bad transaction. A credible counterparty can lack authority. Strong economics can be destroyed by transfer restrictions. An apparently simple secondary can cross a regulatory perimeter the participants have not considered.
Clearance separates investment attractiveness from transaction executability.
02 · The decision
Not a research report. A verdict, with the conditions attached to it.

Evidence supports proceeding.
Clear with conditions
The transaction may proceed once specified conditions are satisfied.
Reroute
The underlying opportunity remains valid, but execution requires a different path.
Reprice
The transaction can work only if economics change.
Delay
Critical information or conditions remain unresolved.
Block
The transaction should not proceed.

04 · Output
A Clearance review sets out evidence grade, title and authority to transact, transfer restrictions, buyer eligibility, valuation basis, fee chain and conditions to close.
It is issued to qualified counterparties under confidentiality as part of a transaction under review. It is not a published rating and carries no independent verification beyond R3i's own diligence.
05 · Status
Clearance is a proprietary R3i framework currently being operationalised through DealDesk mandates. Its wider decision-intelligence architecture remains under development.
