Brand assets

01 · Positioning

Complex private markets.
Cleared before capital moves.

R3i is a frontier-technology private-markets firm specialising in transactions where technical complexity, regulatory constraint and fragmented ownership make execution difficult.

Use this description consistently in introductions, presentations and partner materials. Describe the work through its sequence: originate, clear, structure, execute and learn.

Three forms of work

  • Principal investment
  • Transaction execution
  • Advisory mandates

Three domains

  • Strategic technologies
  • Critical systems
  • Human survivability

State each role precisely. Report investment, transaction, advisory and programme activity separately.

02 · Identity

The R3i mark

R3i mark in white on navy

The R3i mark is a fixed drawing. Use the supplied vector files, white on navy and navy on paper, and never retype it in a font. In running text, write R3i: a capital R, the numeral 3 and a lowercase i, including in capitals-only labels.

Business lockups

Each business name sits centred beneath the mark, set to the same width as the mark: silver on navy, slate on paper.

Space and scale

Allow clear space around the mark of at least one quarter of its height. The website header shows the mark at 30 pixels high. Check legibility at the final size.

Protect the artwork

Keep it upright and undistorted. Avoid recolouring beyond navy and white, cropping, shadows, outlines, stretching or placing it over busy imagery. A typeset “R3i” is editorial text, not a replacement logo.

03 · Colour

Two complementary surfaces

Navy and ivory establish the cover. Paper, graphite and teal carry the reading surface. Use gold sparingly on dark backgrounds and blue for primary actions. Keep colour fields flat.

Colour carries a role

Clearance uses teal for clear, ochre for clear with conditions and reprice, soft teal for reroute, muted grey for delay and iron for block. Always write the outcome alongside the colour.

For small text, use graphite or teal on paper and ivory or gold-soft on navy. Ochre is an accent on paper; pair it with a graphite label. Check contrast whenever a pairing changes.

04 · Typography

Editorial authority.
Practical precision.

Cormorant Garamond · Display · 600

Capital follows evidence.

Use for page titles, section headings and short statements. Sentence case, balanced line breaks and a restrained weight keep the hierarchy clear.

Archivo · Body · 400 / 500 / 600

What must be true for this transaction to clear?

Use for prose, navigation, tables and controls. Aim for 16 pixels or larger for new body copy, generous line spacing and a reading measure of up to 64 characters.

System monospace · Labels and metadata

01 / Originate · Clear · Structure · Execute · Learn

Use for short labels, numbered sequences and technical references. Avoid long passages in spaced capitals.

Fallbacks: Times New Roman for display; Helvetica Neue or a system sans-serif for body; SF Mono, Roboto Mono or Consolas for labels. Keep text readable when web fonts are unavailable.

05 · Layout

Structure makes the argument.

Build from a framed field, a narrow label column and a wider content column. Hairline rules organise information. Square corners, measured spacing and a small number of emphases keep the work legible.

01 · Evidence

A clear hierarchy

One heading. One argument. The supporting evidence follows.

  • Use the shared page inset: 18–60 pixels, adapting to the viewport.
  • Use the shared section padding: 30–58 pixels.
  • At narrow widths, stack the label above the content.
  • Use one blue primary action and an outlined secondary action where both are needed.
  • Keep the six Clearance outcomes in a 3 × 2 grid, then two columns, then one.
  • Use restrained transitions and respect reduced-motion preferences.

Photography and evidence

Use authentic people, technologies and assets when an image adds information. Team portraits use the site's circular grayscale treatment. Keep charts labelled, sources visible and experimental concepts clearly distinguished from operating capability.

06 · Voice

Specific. Measured. Accountable.

Lead with the decision, constraint or evidence. Use active verbs and concrete nouns. Give the reader enough context to understand R3i's role and the next step.

Use

  • “Capital follows evidence.”
  • “Submit a mandate.”
  • “Clear with conditions.”
  • “Currently being operationalised.”

Avoid

  • Unqualified superlatives and guaranteed outcomes.
  • Combined metrics that blur different roles.
  • Claims of live capability for research tools.
  • Language implying a public securities offer.

Names and relationships

R3i is the firm; R3i Capital is legally owned by R3i Inc. R3i DealDesk describes the execution workflow. R3i Clearance is the decision framework. Capital and Intelligence describe areas of work. Use these names consistently and explain their relationship to the firm.

Use British English in editorial copy, including “specialising”, “programme” and “defence”. Preserve the spelling of legal entities, quoted material and official names.

Use the current legal and regulatory disclosures for entity and regulated-activity wording. Brand copy does not replace those disclosures.

07 · Applications

Navy field. Ivory title. A single gold rule.

01 · Decision context

Begin with the constraint.

Paper field. Graphite body. Teal labels and hairline divisions.

  • Presentations: use the dark cover to introduce the argument; use paper for evidence, tables and reading.
  • Reports: state the date, source, scope and R3i's role beside the relevant claim.
  • Digital: retain readable text, keyboard focus, labelled outcomes and responsive layouts.
  • Partner materials: use the supplied mark or lockup and a precise description of the relationship.
